So once again we find ourselves in Silent Hill, a nightmare of a town we are compelled to return to, a town full of creatures crafted in a fit of psychosis, a town full of puzzles, and, most vitally, a town rooted deeply in the nostalgic part of every...

Silent Hill is one of those series that either sucks you in or spits you out. If it didn’t get you within the first 30 minutes, it probably won’t regardless of what it throws at you. It’s possible that it never will. If it did get you, chances are y...
Revamped controls, revamped combat system, sound and music is still atmospheric and creepy, graphics at times are a high point, interesting story, some of the best voice acting the series has had yet.
Can be too easy, soundtrack for songs with lyrics really don’t work as well as others, story is quite often straight out of Jacob’s Ladder, graphics usually aren’t that great.

Excellent environmental lighting and shadow effects build a fantastic atmosphere, Intense boss battles.
Loses the psychological horror factor that the series is so wellknown for, A poorly paced story that plods along for half the game before turning around.
