The four open expansion slots can be filled by optional MDS 9000 Family Modules, including earlier generation 16 and 32 port 2Gb Fibre Channel modules along with the new generation 12, 24 and 48-port, 4Gb Fibre Channel and 4-port, 10Gb Fibre Channel Modules
