NathanI hear a lot of people say that the Nintendo Wii doesn't really satisfy enough of the hardcore gamers in the gaming industry, I personally agree with this. With “The Conduit” hitting the Nintendo Wii will the console be more appealing to the har...
  • Very good graphics for the Wii, A blast to play through, A challenge on the higher difficulties, Fantastic control scheme, Great online option.
  • Controls will take some getting used to, Online multiplayer can be insanely laggy, recycled environments and enemy characters, Nothing that sets a new bar in FPS shooters.

If you happen to be a Wii owner who has a separate shelf for your Wii-exclusive first-person shooters then I would imagine its been looking pretty bare in the last couple of years. Well, it might just be time to dust off that shelf, vacuum the dead mo...

The Conduit proves that the Wii can produce FPS play mechanics that are easy to control, however the lack of a cohesive story coupled with bland environments ultimately lets it down...
  • The fantastic control method is a feat of technical excellence. Fully customisable to suit your own style of play.
  • The game is bland with no substance in story or level design. Difficulty drifts from very easy to frustratingly hard.

High Voltage is here to prove a point. Yes, it wants to entertain, innovate, engross, and all the other things that developers like to do, but with The Conduit it really has something to say. For too long, Wii owners have had to make do with the stylis...

Im not sure who I should blame for The Conduits shortcomings. Do I blame the developer for making a rather generic shooter with a convoluted storyline that isnt as epic or mysterious as it wants to be or do I blame Nintendo for creating a console whose lack of hardware power essentially handcuffs every developer who tries to create a "next-gen" game for it? Hell, maybe I should stay within the games conspiracy theme and just chalk it up to the Illuminati — theyre always trying to ruin ever...
  • Finally some smooth weapon aiming in a Wii FPS game. it has its moments...
  • Terrible motion controls, uninteresting storyline and unimpressive graphics top the list...
  • To be blunt, The Conduit is a by the numbers shooter that offers a couple of thrills but ultimately doesn’t make much of an impact. If your system of choice is the Wii then I suggest you check it out, as action games are few and far between on the p...
